A Bit About Me
Originally from Lebanon, I completed both college and medical school at the American University of Beirut before moving to the United States for specialty training. I went to Rutgers - New Jersey Medical School for psychiatry residency and the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate for child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship.
Since 2018, I have been working in Connecticut and have gained experience treating individuals of various ages and backgrounds, in outpatient, inpatient, emergency and medical settings, within hospital systems in Hartford then Fairfield County.

I started my private practice for the opportunity to evaluate and treat patients independently without the access and scheduling constraints imposed by facilities and insurance companies. Giving every individual the time and attention they need to tell their story and express all their concerns is very important to me. Even though I focus on medication management, I consider my practice a safe space for patients to explore their thoughts and feelings while I offer supportive therapy and psychodynamic insights.
